This is an outstanding opportunity to join a truly exciting and forward thinking trading house. We are looking for a Chief Representative to be based in Europe.

The key responsibilities will include:
Creating a growth strategy for the business, developing clear strategic options, evaluating potential outcomes, taking decisions and planning effective implementation; thinking creatively and mobilising the management team to do likewise; Leading, directing, motivating and developing the management team to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Building a desire among individuals to take responsibility for their actions to ensure delivery against agreed outcomes; Working very closely with the board to identify new opportunities and provide insight into the performance of the organisation and its business plans; Monitoring and developing the operation to maximise profitability.

The ideal candidate will be shrewd business professional who possesses significant market experience and strong leadership skills. A demonstrable level of success in managing change and delivering growth and profitability is essential. You will be a strategic thinker, able to lead and inspire, and have a proven ability to increase sales and profitability.

The role will be suited to someone who is self-starting, ambitious and who would relish the challenge of expanding and developing a fledgling business which will in the initial phases be dependent upon support from its other office; in essence the operation will have some elements of a start-up.
