Timbermark  EUROPE is based in Belgium and has ambitious growth plans for its range of industrial inkjet printers. We seek a dynamic, independent and experienced sales agent for the Benelux region and some nearby territories.  

The parent company, Timbermark Identification Systems Ltd is a provider of industrial inkjet printers to the timber industry. The products include both piezo (PIJ) and thermal inkjet (TIJ) print technologies, as well as a range of economical handheld TIJ printers. Nearly every manufacturing company has a need for this type of system, and Timbermark’s products are some of the most competitive on the market.

Typical timber industrial applications include printing onto pallets, timber in sawmills, or wood-based panels, and joinery and furniture manufacturers.
Non-timber work includes printing onto pipe and film extrusions, plastic packaging, and outer cartons.
The handheld machines are used in almost any industry in a wide variety of applications.

The role involves this activity:

·         Researching, prospecting and presenting to potential customers, managing the work using a Hubspot CRM system.

·         Demonstrating new products at manufacturing sites and troubleshooting technical issues. Travelling within Benelux to work at customers' sites.

·         Achieving targets for sales, revenue and gross profit.

·         Attending international sales exhibitions and following up with customers.

 

The successful candidate must:
 

·         Ideally be from a coding and marking or labelling background, but other experience that can be shown to be relevant (such as packaging materials or systems) can be considered.
 

·         Demonstrate a hands-on approach to identifying new contacts, building and developing customer relationships and trouble-shooting technical faults.

·         Be able to work independently. The company does offer commercial and technical support to enable sales.

·         Have good communication and presentation skills.

·         Be fluent in languages. English essential, plus at least one of Dutch and French.

·         Work effectively. Own a car, PC and be able to work from a home office.

 

In return, Timbermark offers a monthly retainer and generous commission. It is OK for the agent to have other business interests, and the retainer will reflect the amount of time the individual can devote to the Timbermark business. The commission is uncapped.
