Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Agent to drive sales of our lighting upgrade solutions across the UK. This is a commission-only position with a generous commission structure, offering the right candidate significant earning potential.
Our model is to start locally—within roughly an hour’s travel time from each agent’s home base—and then expand outward as the agent or the local market grows. This means you’ll begin by developing strong relationships and a robust pipeline in your local area, with plenty of support to grow beyond that when the time is right.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using our CRM system.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in schools and C&I facilities.
- Leverage provided marketing materials and support to generate leads and build relationships.
- Understand clients’ current lighting systems and needs to recommend tailored solutions.
- Collaborate closely with our Operations and Installation teams to ensure a seamless handover and delivery.
- Become thoroughly familiar with our product range, training materials, and technical specifications—no shortcuts.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions within the CRM.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ proven B2B sales experience, ideally in lighting, energy efficiency, or related fields.
- Knowledge or experience with primary and secondary schools (as a parent, former staff member, or through selling to them) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency using CRM systems to manage pipelines and customer relationships.
- Willingness to invest time in learning and understanding the product thoroughly—this is a no-shortcuts position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside Operations and Installation teams
- A positive, accountable attitude that embraces learning and takes responsibility for mistakes.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed to a structured, progressive sales process.
- A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel as needed.
